Before you put a Desk to work

Do we have to switch property management software?

No new property management platform is required. Lotline works around your existing tools and records. Connections may use reports or exports rather than a direct integration. Compatibility is confirmed before setup.

What does the free building snapshot cover?

A starting view of public building records and items worth checking for the addresses you share. It is not an inspection or a complete compliance review. It does not require access to your accounts or tenant records.

Can a Desk send something without our approval?

You decide which routine follow-ups can run under agreed rules. Sensitive actions require a person's approval. Contacts, wording, exclusions and approval points are agreed and tested before launch.

Who owns the system and the accounts?

You do. The Desk runs in your accounts, and you keep the system, operating runbook and backups. Any separate software subscriptions and their costs are agreed before setup.

What does monthly support cover?

Monitoring and fixes for the agreed workflow. Problems that need your team are flagged for review. The runbook explains how to check, pause and recover the system. New processes or major scope changes are quoted separately.

Do we need a Workflow Audit before buying a Desk?

Not always. If the process, records and rules are clear, start with a Desk. If the handoffs are unclear or the work does not fit a listed Desk, the fixed-price Workflow Audit gives you a written plan before committing to setup.
